Understanding What “Sold” Means

We already wrote an article on the normalization between Israel-Saudi Arabia. This time, we are talking about how they sold Palestine out.

When we say Saudi Arabia has “sold” Palestine, we are not speaking metaphorically or engaging in rhetorical exaggeration. We mean that the Saudi regime has systematically traded away the rights, land, and future of the Palestinian people in exchange for strategic benefits, security guarantees, and economic advantages from the United States and the Zionist entity itself. This is a literal transaction where Palestinian blood has become the currency, Palestinian land has become the commodity, and the Saudi throne has become the buyer of Western approval and protection.

To sell something means to exchange it for value received. The Saudi regime has received advanced weapons systems, defense treaties, nuclear technology deals, and the promise of American protection against Iran. In return, they have given up their religious and moral obligation to defend Al Aqsa, abandoned the Palestinian cause that defined Arab politics for seven decades, and actively worked to integrate the Zionist occupation into the heart of the Muslim world. This is not diplomacy. This is not pragmatism. This is treason against the Ummah, dressed up in the language of modernization and national interest.

The Madkhalis and other supporters of the taghut will tell you that normalization is simply recognizing reality, that Saudi Arabia is pursuing its interests, that they are working behind the scenes for the Palestinians. These are the arguments of the Murjiah, those who make excuses for the rulers no matter what crimes they commit. The evidence we will present destroys every one of these lies and proves that Saudi Arabia is actively, systematically, and irreversibly betraying Palestine.

The Historical Lie: From the Arab Peace Initiative to Complete Surrender

For decades, Saudi Arabia hid behind the facade of the Arab Peace Initiative, a proposal it launched in 2002 that supposedly offered normalization with the Zionist entity only in exchange for full withdrawal from occupied territories and the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. This initiative was presented to the Muslim world as proof that Saudi Arabia would never compromise on Palestine, that there were clear red lines that could not be crossed.

That was always a lie, but now even the pretense has been abandoned. The current Saudi position no longer demands Israeli withdrawal or a Palestinian state as a precondition for normalization. Instead, they speak of a “clear path” to Palestinian statehood, an intentionally vague formulation that means absolutely nothing. A path is not a destination. A path can lead nowhere. A path can be blocked, redirected, or abandoned at any time. The Saudis know this. The Zionists know this. Only the foolish Muslim masses are supposed to believe that this represents any real commitment to Palestinian rights.

The evolution of the Saudi position reveals the trajectory of betrayal. In 2002, they demanded full Israeli withdrawal. By 2020, when the UAE and Bahrain signed the Abraham Accords, Saudi Arabia gave tacit approval for its neighbors to normalize while claiming it would not join them. By 2023, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was publicly stating that normalization was “getting closer every day.” By 2025, all talk of preconditions had shifted to meaningless promises of future pathways and post war reconstruction.

The scholarly consensus is clear. Robert Mogielnicki, a senior scholar focused on the Gulf, states that a normalization deal is “likely to happen eventually” because all parties have strong incentives to present it as a transformative achievement. F. Gregory Gause III, a leading expert on Saudi foreign policy, observes that normalization has been kept “on ice” during the peak of the Gaza genocide but will resume once the immediate crisis passes. The only question is timing and packaging, not whether the betrayal will occur.

The Military Alliance: Fighting Alongside the Enemy of Islam

The most damning evidence of Saudi treachery is not found in public statements but in the secret military integration that has already taken place. Saudi Arabia and the Zionist entity are not merely moving toward alliance. They are already functioning as military partners in the most critical areas of regional defense. This is not preparation for future cooperation. This is current, active collaboration with the enemy that bombs Gaza, that kills Palestinian children, that desecrates Al Aqsa.

In 2021, the United States moved the Zionist entity from European Command to Central Command, the same command structure that oversees American military operations in the Middle East including Saudi Arabia. This was described by analysts as a “game changer” because it allowed Israeli military forces to participate in joint exercises, planning sessions, and intelligence exchanges with Arab neighbors under a unified American umbrella. Saudi Arabia has been an active and enthusiastic participant in this integration.

Leaked U.S. military documents reviewed in October 2025 reveal the depth of this betrayal. These documents confirm that Saudi military officials have regularly met with their Zionist counterparts to discuss regional threats, including the development of underground tunnels and Iranian drone technology.

In January 2025, just weeks before this article was written, a high level session at Fort Campbell in the United States brought together Saudi and Israeli personnel for joint training on neutralizing subterranean threats. This training was a direct response to the tactical challenges posed by resistance groups in Gaza and Lebanon.

Let this sink in. While Palestinian children were being buried under the rubble of their homes in Gaza, Saudi military officers were training side by side with the very forces dropping the bombs, learning how to better destroy the tunnels that Palestinians use to resist their occupation. This is not neutrality. This is not non involvement. This is active participation in the war against the Palestinian people.

The military cooperation extends far beyond training sessions. Saudi Arabia is a central participant in the Middle East Air Defense Alliance, a joint initiative that unifies the radar systems and sensor data of the Zionist entity, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and other partners into a cohesive regional defense network. The effectiveness of this system was demonstrated in real world scenarios during 2024 and 2025 when Iran launched large scale drone and missile attacks against the Zionist entity. Reports confirm that Saudi Arabia and the UAE provided critical intelligence and enabled the use of their airspace to intercept these threats, contributing to a 99 percent success rate in neutralizing the strikes.

Think carefully about what this means. When Iran (May Allah Curse them)  launched missiles in defense of Gaza, in defense of the Palestinians being slaughtered, Saudi Arabia actively helped the Zionist entity shoot down those missiles. Saudi Arabia used its radar systems, its airspace, and its intelligence capabilities to protect the same regime that was committing genocide in Gaza. And then Saudi officials had the audacity to issue statements expressing concern for the Palestinian people while their military was literally defending the Zionists from retaliation.

The commitment to this military alliance is not temporary or conditional. Gulf states, with Saudi Arabia as a central participant, have committed to investing over 15 billion dollars between 2025 and 2030 to upgrade aerial intelligence and defense networks that will be integrated with Zionist systems. This massive investment reveals that the Saudis are not hedging their bets or keeping options open. They are locking themselves into a long term strategic partnership with the occupation.

The leaked documents reveal even more shocking details. In 2025, Saudi officials provided “intelligence overviews” to a consortium of regional partners, including the Zionist entity, focusing on the role of Russia, Turkey, and Kurdish forces in Syria, as well as the ongoing threat posed by Houthi militants in Yemen. This sharing of high level strategic assessments indicates a level of trust and cooperation that is completely inconsistent with any claim of supporting the Palestinian cause. The Saudis are treating the Zionists as trusted allies while treating the resistance forces fighting for Palestine as common enemies.

The Economic Integration: Building the Occupation into the Infrastructure

While the Madkhalis defend the regime by claiming that any dealings with the Zionists are merely tactical and temporary, the evidence shows that Saudi Arabia is actively working to make the Zionist entity a permanent and indispensable part of the region’s economic infrastructure. This is not about managing an unfortunate reality. This is about building a future where the Zionist occupation becomes so embedded in the economic system that it can never be removed.

The India Middle East Europe Economic Corridor, announced at the G20 Summit in 2023, is the centerpiece of this strategy. This massive infrastructure project is designed to link India to Europe through the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the Zionist entity. The corridor consists of two primary routes. The Eastern Corridor connects India to the Arabian Gulf through maritime routes to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The Northern Corridor links Saudi Arabia through Jordan to the Israeli port of Haifa, and from there to European ports.

By early 2025, construction on key infrastructure associated with this corridor, including logistics hubs and railway segments, had begun despite the genocide in Gaza. For Saudi Arabia, this corridor is presented as a central component of Vision 2030, aimed at diversifying the economy and positioning the Kingdom as a global logistics hub. But the reality is that this project makes the Zionist entity an indispensable link in Saudi Arabia’s economic future. Goods flowing from the Gulf to Europe will pass through Zionist controlled ports. The economic prosperity of Saudi Arabia’s flagship development projects will depend on cooperation with the occupation.

This is the essence of selling Palestine. The Saudis are not just recognizing the Zionist entity. They are building an economic system where removing the Zionists would damage Saudi interests. They are creating financial incentives for themselves to protect the occupation because their own wealth will depend on it. This is how normalization becomes irreversible. It is not achieved through a single peace treaty that can be torn up. It is achieved by weaving the economies together so tightly that separation becomes impossible.

Even while high level diplomatic talks are often described as “stalled” to manage public perception, functional normalization is visible in the “Land Bridge” trucking route. This private sector initiative allows goods from the Gulf to travel via truck through Saudi Arabia and Jordan to the Zionist entity, bypassing the volatile Red Sea and the Suez Canal. Logistics companies in both Saudi Arabia and the Zionist entity are utilizing advanced applications and GPS tracking to facilitate this transit, demonstrating a level of commercial cooperation that operates independently of formal diplomatic recognition.

The potential for technological cooperation is particularly high in sectors where the Zionist entity is a global leader, such as water desalination, smart grid management, and renewable energy. These technologies are critical for the success of Saudi flagship projects like Neom. The Saudis are planning to integrate Zionist technology into the very heart of their future cities, making the occupation a partner in the transformation of Saudi society itself.

The Ideological Preparation: Poisoning the Next Generation

Perhaps the most insidious aspect of the Saudi betrayal is the systematic effort to reprogram the minds of Saudi citizens, especially the youth, to accept normalization with the Zionist entity. This is not merely about changing policy. This is about changing the very identity and consciousness of the Saudi people so that they will not resist when the final betrayal is announced.

Comprehensive reviews of Saudi schoolbooks for the 2023 to 2024 and 2025 to 2026 academic years reveal what researchers describe as a “quite astonishing” moderation of content. The Saudi Ministry of Education has undertaken a multi year effort to remove antisemitic material and tone down content critical of the Zionist entity. This is not about promoting tolerance or fighting genuine hatred. This is about preparing the population to accept the unacceptable.

The specific changes in the Saudi curriculum are shocking in their scope and reveal the depth of the regime’s commitment to normalization. Passages characterizing Jews as treacherous have been deleted. References to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion have been removed. Quranic interpretations traditionally used to warn about Jewish enmity have been eliminated or recontexted. Inflammatory terms have been replaced with milder language. The phrase “the Zionist enemy” has been replaced by “the Israeli occupation” or “the Israeli occupation army.” School assignments asking students to refute Zionist claims or praising the violent resistance of the intifadas have been expunged.

Even the maps have been changed. While the name “Israel” still does not appear on most Saudi maps, the name “Palestine” has been removed from areas covering modern Israeli territory, leaving the space blank. This is described by researchers as a “small step” indicating a change in narrative. But it is not a small step. It is the erasure of Palestine from the consciousness of Saudi children. It is teaching the next generation that Palestine does not exist, that the land belongs to no one, that there is nothing to fight for.

The Saudi state maintains strict control over religious sermons and clerics, and in recent years there has been a notable shift toward promoting what they call “moderate Islam” that emphasizes interfaith dialogue and coexistence. The death of the Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Asheikh, in September 2025 marked a symbolic turning point. While his successor, Sheikh Saleh al Fawzan, is known for his conservative views, his appointment was made on the recommendation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, ensuring that the religious establishment remains completely subservient to the state’s geopolitical goals.

By promoting a neutered interpretation of jihad and condemning resistance groups like Hamas, the Saudi religious establishment is systematically removing the theological barriers to peace with the Zionist entity. The scholars of the regime are being forced to issue fatwas declaring that cooperation with the occupiers is permissible, that resistance is forbidden, that normalization is in the interest of the Muslims. These are the court scholars, the scholars for dollars, the Madkhalis who will justify any crime of the ruler as long as they maintain their positions and salaries.

The American Price: What the Saudis Bought with Palestinian Blood

The question must be asked: what did Saudi Arabia receive in exchange for this comprehensive betrayal? What was the price of Palestinian lives, Palestinian land, and Palestinian freedom? The answer reveals the transactional nature of this entire process and exposes the lie that normalization is about peace or regional stability.

A key element of the normalization package is a new U.S. Saudi defense treaty. In late 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met to discuss a “Strategic Defense Agreement” that would affirm the United States as Saudi Arabia’s primary strategic ally. As part of this deal, the United States has agreed to sell Saudi Arabia advanced F-35 fighter jets, granting the Kingdom access to the same stealth technology as the Zionist entity.

Furthermore, the United States is considering a civilian nuclear deal with the Kingdom, a long standing Saudi demand that was previously a major hurdle in negotiations. These concessions indicate that the United States is willing to pay a high price to secure the normalization deal, viewing it as a way to contain Chinese influence in the region and stabilize global energy markets. But the price is not being paid by America. The price is being paid by the Palestinians, whose suffering is the currency in this transaction.

The Saudis demanded these weapons and guarantees as the price for abandoning Palestine. They told the Americans that they would normalize with the Zionist entity, that they would integrate the occupatio n into the region, that they would use their religious influence to legitimize the Zionist presence, but only if they received the military technology and security guarantees they wanted. And America agreed, because both parties understood that the real victim of this deal would be the Palestinian people, who have no say in the matter and no ability to resist.

In 2025, the White House announced the creation of a “Gaza Executive Board” under a broader “Board of Peace” chaired by President Trump. This board, which includes regional officials from Turkey and Qatar, is tasked with overseeing the reconstruction and governance of post war Gaza. While the Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu initially objected to the composition of this board, it represents the kind of multilateral framework that Saudi Arabia requires to engage in the Palestinian issue without appearing to abandon its principles completely.

This is the final humiliation. After allowing the Zionist entity to destroy Gaza, after helping to defend the Zionists from retaliation, after building economic corridors that benefit the occupation, Saudi Arabia will now participate in “reconstructing” Gaza under a framework controlled by America and acceptable to the Zionists. They will spend Saudi money to rebuild what the Zionists destroyed, claiming this as evidence of their support for Palestinians, while ensuring that the reconstruction happens in a way that does not threaten Zionist interests or challenge the occupation.

The Resistance and the Backlash: Not All Saudis Have Sold Their Souls

It must be acknowledged that not all Saudis support this betrayal. The regime’s systematic efforts to change curriculum and religious discourse reveal that they are afraid of popular opposition. They know that large segments of Saudi society remain deeply opposed to normalization with the Zionist entity, and they are working frantically to reshape public opinion before the final announcement.

Reports from late 2025 indicate that Saudi Arabia was actively reshaping its regional diplomacy to counterbalance the Zionist entity’s growing assertiveness. Riyadh is reportedly working to form a new regional axis that includes Turkey, Iran, Qatar, Egypt, and Pakistan. This move is interpreted by some analysts as a “multilayered containment strategy” to restrict Zionist freedom of action following strikes and ongoing operations in Gaza. But this should not be misunderstood as a genuine turn against normalization. Rather, it is strategic hedging, ensuring that Saudi Arabia maintains influence in multiple camps and is not completely dependent on the Zionist American axis.

A sermon delivered in Mecca in late 2025 vilified Jews and portrayed the Zionist entity as an enemy, highlighting the ongoing challenges of managing domestic sentiment. Even as the state modifies textbooks and promotes tolerance toward Zionists at the official level, segments of Saudi society and even some elements within the religious establishment remain deeply antagonistic toward normalization. The regime must navigate this carefully to avoid undermining its own legitimacy, particularly as Mohammed bin Salman seeks to position himself as the leader of the Islamic world.

But let us be clear about what this resistance means and does not mean. The existence of popular opposition to normalization does not change the fact that the Saudi regime is pursuing normalization aggressively. The reluctance of some clerics does not alter the reality that the official religious establishment has been brought to heel. The occasional critical sermon does not negate the systematic rewriting of textbooks and the deep military intelligence cooperation already in place. The resistance of the Saudi people is real and honorable, but it is being crushed by a regime that has chosen alliance with the enemies of Islam over the will of the Muslims.

The Madkhali Defense: Excuses of the Supporters of Taghut

The Madkhalis and other supporters of the Saudi regime have developed a set of standard arguments to defend normalization, and it is necessary to expose these arguments as the lies they are. These court scholars and their followers online and in mosques worldwide have become the propagandists of betrayal, using Islamic terminology to justify the unjustifiable.

The first argument is that Saudi Arabia is weak and must be pragmatic. They claim that the Kingdom cannot fight the Zionist entity militarily and therefore must pursue diplomacy and normalization to survive. This is the argument of cowards and hypocrites. Saudi Arabia spends billions on advanced weapons, hosts American military bases, and possesses one of the most well equipped militaries in the region. The problem is not weakness but will. The problem is not capability but courage. The regime chooses not to support Palestine because supporting Palestine would threaten their relationship with America, not because they lack the means.

Furthermore, this argument ignores that no one is asking Saudi Arabia to invade the Zionist entity tomorrow. What is being asked is that they not actively help the enemy, that they not train with Zionist forces, that they not provide intelligence to protect Zionist cities from retaliation, that they not build economic corridors making the occupation permanent. What is being asked is the bare minimum: do not betray. But even this minimum is too much for the regime and its defenders.

The second argument is that normalization will help the Palestinians by giving Saudi Arabia influence over the Zionist entity. This is perhaps the most insulting lie of all. Every historical example proves that normalization strengthens the occupier and weakens the occupied. Egypt normalized with the Zionist entity in 1979. Has Egyptian normalization helped the Palestinians? Egypt now enforces the blockade of Gaza on behalf of the occupation. Jordan normalized in 1994. Has Jordanian normalization helped the Palestinians? Jordan prevents its citizens from effectively supporting the resistance and coordinates security with the Zionists.

The pattern is clear and consistent. Normalization does not create leverage for the Palestinians. It creates legitimacy for the occupation. It isolates the resistance. It divides the Arab and Muslim world. It signals to the Zionists that they can continue their crimes without consequence because even the most important Muslim countries will eventually accept them. Saudi normalization will be the final blow to the Palestinian cause, not a tool to support it.

The third argument is that Muslims must obey their rulers even when they disagree with their policies. This is the core Madkhali position, derived from a twisted interpretation of Islamic texts about avoiding rebellion. They quote hadith about obeying rulers even if they beat you and take your wealth, ignoring the context and conditions of those hadith. They ignore that obedience to rulers is conditional on those rulers not commanding clear disobedience to Allah, and that supporting the enemies of Islam against Muslims is exactly such a disobedience.

The classical scholars were clear that there is no obedience to the creation in disobedience to the Creator. When a Muslim ruler allies with the kuffar against the Muslims, when he normalizes with those who occupy Muslim lands and kill Muslim people, when he uses the wealth and resources of the Muslims to strengthen the enemies of Islam, obedience to such a ruler is not required. In fact, speaking the truth about his betrayal becomes an obligation. The Madkhalis who demand blind obedience to the taghut while he sells Palestine are not following the Sunnah. They are following their desires and their fear.

Conclusion: The Betrayal Is Complete and Irreversible

The analysis of the geopolitical developments between 2020 and 2026 demonstrates beyond any reasonable doubt that Saudi Arabia has sold Palestine. This is not a metaphor. This is not an exaggeration. This is a precise description of what has occurred. The Saudi regime has systematically traded away every principle, every commitment, and every obligation related to Palestine in exchange for weapons, technology, security guarantees, and American approval.

The military integration is already complete. Saudi and Zionist forces train together, share intelligence, and coordinate defense against common enemies, which now includes anyone who resists the occupation. The economic integration is being built into the infrastructure of the region through massive projects like the India Middle East Europe Economic Corridor, making the Zionist entity a permanent and profitable part of the regional economy. The ideological preparation is well underway, with Saudi textbooks being rewritten to remove criticism of Zionists and Saudi clerics being forced to promote a version of Islam compatible with normalization.

The only element missing is the formal announcement, and that is merely a matter of timing. The Jerusalem Post reports that the Saudi royal family is waiting for a “soft resetting” of the Zionist political system, preferring to sign a deal with a new government rather than the one that led the recent wars. Others suggest the normalization will be announced after the next Israeli elections, currently scheduled for October 2026 but potentially occurring sooner. Some analysts believe a deal could be concluded before the end of 2026. The specifics of timing are irrelevant. The betrayal has already occurred in substance even if it has not yet been formalized in ceremony.

The supporters of the taghut, the Madkhalis and Murjiah, will continue to make excuses. They will claim that the regime is playing a long game, that they are securing benefits for the Muslims, that we must trust the wisdom of the rulers. These arguments are lies designed to paralyze the Ummah and prevent resistance to this betrayal. The evidence is overwhelming and undeniable. Saudi Arabia has chosen alliance with the enemies of Islam. Saudi Arabia has chosen American protection over Islamic principle. Saudi Arabia has chosen normalizing with occupiers over supporting the occupied.

The Only Solution: The Return of the Khilafah

The Saudi betrayal of Palestine reveals a fundamental truth that many Muslims are reluctant to accept: the nation state system imposed on the Muslim world by colonial powers has failed completely and irreversibly. As long as the Ummah is divided into separate countries, each pursuing its own interests and each vulnerable to pressure from the kuffar, betrayals like this are inevitable.

Saudi Arabia can sell Palestine because Saudi Arabia is not accountable to the Ummah but only to its own ruling family and its American protectors. The Saudi regime does not represent the Muslims. It represents the interests of the Saudi state, which are often directly opposed to the interests of Islam and Muslims. This is true not just for Saudi Arabia but for every Muslim majority country operating within the nation state framework.

The only solution is the restoration of the Khilafah, the unified Islamic state that represents all Muslims and is accountable to Islamic law rather than to nation state interests or foreign powers. Under the Khilafah, Palestine would not be the property of the Palestinians alone that can be bargained away. It would be the land of all Muslims, and its defense would be the obligation of the entire Ummah, not dependent on the calculations of individual regimes.

Under the Khilafah, no single ruler could make the decision to normalize with the occupiers because such a decision would require the consensus of the Muslims and adherence to Shariah, both of which would make normalization impossible. Under the Khilafah, the economic and military resources of the entire Muslim world would be unified and directed toward Islamic goals rather than being used to serve foreign interests and protect puppet regimes.

The Madkhalis and defenders of the current order will say that calling for the Khilafah is unrealistic, that it is a dream that distracts from working within the current system. But the current system has given us nothing but betrayal, weakness, and humiliation. The current system has given us rulers who sell Palestine for weapons and who train with Zionists while Palestinian children are murdered. The current system has failed and must be replaced.

The restoration of the Khilafah is not a distant dream but an urgent necessity. Every day that passes under the nation state system is another day of betrayal and defeat. The work of rebuilding the Khilafah begins with rejecting the legitimacy of those who rule the Muslim lands in service of kufr, exposing their crimes, and working to unite the Ummah under sincere leadership that will never compromise with the enemies of Islam.

Saudi Arabia has sold Palestine. The only way to buy it back is to overthrow the entire system that made this sale possible and to restore the Islamic governance that will make such betrayals impossible in the future. This is the path forward. This is the only solution. And this is what every sincere Muslim must work toward with everything they have.
