The Madkhali Murji’ah have spread shubuhāt and consistently resorted to lies and false ta’wīl in matters where ta’wīl is not even permissible. They distort everything they touch.

Even after we clearly proved in our article, regarding Saudi Arabia and the United Nations, by refuting every single one of their claims, they still come forward and repeat the same lie: that Saudi Arabia rejected the UN Charter.

Today, we will respond to this falsehood once again. This time however, we will not present the Charter itself. Instead, we will present the requirements set by the United Nations and the International Court of Justice that must be fulfilled in order for a state to become a UN member and academic explanations.

And if, after this, they still claim that “Saudi rejected parts of the Charter,” then they are like those who have eyes, yet do not see.

1- ICJ legal materials

ICJ legal materials confirm acceptance of obligations is a core legal condition. The ICJ text used in international law training explicitly cites the acceptance requirement:

2- RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

These rules stipulate that any state applying for membership must submit a formal declaration explicitly accepting all obligations of the UN Charter. This reinforces the undeniable fact that no state can become a UN member without formally and fully accepting the Charter.

3- Practice of the Charter

In the Report on the Practice of the Charter, published on the official website of the United Nations, it is explicitly stated that every state must accept the Charter in its entirety. Acceptance is not optional, nor partial. This acceptance is formally affirmed through an official declaration, as clearly shown in the scanned documents below:

4- Academic Explanation

In this academic analysis from the UCC Law Journal, authored by Kwadwo Addo Tuffuor (PhD, LLM, MPhil, LLM, QCL, BA; Senior Lecturer, Department of Peace Studies, University of Cape Coast, Ghana), Stella Korantema (LLB, LLM; Assistant Lecturer, Department of Multidisciplinary Studies, Ho Technical University), and Elijah Tukwariba Yin (PhD, LLM, MA, PgDL, BA, HETC; Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Law, University of Cape Coast, Ghana), it is explicitly stated that acceptance of the UN Charter is a mandatory requirement for membership.

Conclusion

The matter is now decisively settled. By the UN’s own legal framework, by the authoritative practice of the Charter, by the Rules of Procedure of the General Assembly, by International Court of Justice legal materials, and by independent academic scholarship, acceptance of the UN Charter in its entirety is an absolute and non-negotiable condition for membership. There is no legal space for partial acceptance, selective rejection, or post-hoc denial.

Saudi Arabia’s status as a UN member is therefore, by definition, proof of its formal acceptance of the Charter and its obligations. To continue claiming that Saudi Arabia “rejected parts of the Charter” is not a matter of interpretation or academic disagreement, it is a direct contradiction of established legal fact.

Thus, the repeated claim propagated by the Madkhali Murji’ah is exposed for what it truly is: a recycled falsehood sustained only by obstinacy, not evidence. When authoritative sources are dismissed and clear documentation is ignored, the issue ceases to be one of proof and becomes one of willful blindness.

As Allah تعالى says:

“As for those who persist in disbelief, it is the same whether you warn them or not, they will never believe.” (Surah al-Baqarah 2:6)

أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَآ

Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Or are there locks upon their hearts? (Surah Muḥammad 47:24)

Let there be no compulsion in religion, for the truth stands out clearly from falsehood. So whoever renounces false gods and believes in Allah has certainly grasped the firmest, unfailing hand-hold. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (Surah al-Baqarah 2:256)

The evidence has been presented. The sources are explicit. The conclusion is unavoidable. After this, the burden no longer lies with clarification, but with those who refuse to see.
