Introduction: The Ruler That Slaughtered Brotherhood
In 1916, a British diplomat named Mark Sykes and a French diplomat named François Georges-Picot sat down with a MAP and a RULER and decided to CARVE UP the Muslim world like a piece of meat. These lines didn’t just divide land, they RIPPED APART thousand-year-old bonds of brotherhood and left 1.9 billion Muslims scattered across 57 pathetic, weakened nation-states.
Today, the Syria-Iraq border, the Jordan-Saudi Arabia border, and dozens of other boundaries are products of these ARBITRARY LINES drawn by our ENEMIES.
This article will EXPOSE how artificial borders have DESTROYED the Ummah’s consciousness and prove that our ONLY salvation lies in reunification.
1- THE QUR’AN AND SUNNAH COMMAND UNITY
1.1. Tawhid and the Unity of the Ummah
Islam’s foundation is TAWHID, the Oneness of Allah. This principle demands not just theological unity but the COMPLETE UNITY of Muslims as ONE BODY.
ALLAH ALMİGHTY DECLARES:
إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦٓ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ وَأَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُونِ
“Indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me.”
وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟ بِحَبْلِ ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًۭا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا۟ ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَآءًۭ فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓ إِخْوَٰنًۭا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ ١٠٣
“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do NOT be divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you – when you were ENEMIES and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, BROTHERS. And you were at the brink of a fiery pit and He saved you from it. This is how Allah makes His revelations clear to you, so that you may be ˹rightly˺ guided.”
إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌۭ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
“The believers are but BROTHERS, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.”
وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا۟ وَٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتُ ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ
“And do NOT be like those who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a GREAT PUNISHMENT.”
These verses are CRYSTAL CLEAR: The unity of the Ummah is a FUNDAMENTAL COMMAND of Islam. The phrase “ONE UMMAH” means a universal brotherhood that TRANSCENDS geographical borders, races, and languages.
1.2. The Prophet’s (PBUH) Call for Unity
THE PROPHET (PBUH) DECLARED:
مثل المؤمنين في توادهم وتراحمهم وتعاطفهم، مثل الجسد إذا اشتكى منه عضو تداعى له سائر الجسد بالسهر والحمى”
“The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion, and sympathy are just like ONE BODY. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.”
“ الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ، لاَ يَظْلِمُهُ وَلاَ يُسْلِمُهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي حَاجَةِ أَخِيهِ كَانَ اللَّهُ فِي حَاجَتِهِ، وَمَنْ فَرَّجَ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ كُرْبَةً فَرَّجَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرُبَاتِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ سَتَرَ مُسْلِمًا سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ”.
“A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection .”
“ إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ كَالْبُنْيَانِ، يَشُدُّ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضًا ”
“A faithful believer to a faithful believer is like the bricks of a wall, enforcing each other.” While (saying that) the Prophet (ﷺ) clasped his hands, by interlacing his fingers.
“ مَا أَطْيَبَكِ وَأَطْيَبَ رِيحَكِ مَا أَعْظَمَكِ وَأَعْظَمَ حُرْمَتَكِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَحُرْمَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ حُرْمَةً مِنْكِ مَالِهِ وَدَمِهِ وَأَنْ نَظُنَّ بِهِ إِلاَّ خَيْرًا
“I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) circumambulating the Ka’bah and saying: ‘How good you are and how good your fragrance; how great you are and how great your sanctity. By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, the sanctity of the believer is greater before Allah than your sanctity, his blood and his wealth, and to think anything but good of him.’”
In his FINAL SERMON, the Prophet (PBUH) ROARED:
“O people! Your Lord is ONE and your father is ONE. All of you descend from Adam, and Adam was from dust. An Arab has NO superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab. A white has NO superiority over a black, nor does a black have any superiority over a white – except by TAQWA (piety)!”
These hadiths PROVE:
- Muslims are ONE BODY – INSEPARABLE
- Race, language, geography mean NOTHING – only faith matters
- The pain of ONE Muslim is the pain of ALL
- Protecting your Muslim brother is MANDATORY
1.3. Division is HARAM!
ALLAH WARNS WITH FIRE:
۞ مُنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ شِيَعًۭا ۖ كُلُّ حِزْبٍۭ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ
˹O believers!˺ Always turn to Him ˹in repentance˺, be mindful of Him, and establish prayers. And do not be polytheists— ˹like˺ those who have divided their faith and split into sects, each rejoicing in what they have.
وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَلَا تَنَـٰزَعُوا۟ فَتَفْشَلُوا۟ وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ ۖ وَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ ٤٦
“And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do NOT dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would DEPART. And be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.”
Part Two: REASON DEMAND UNITY
2.1. STRENGTH IS IN UNITY – Basic Mathematics
Simple math:
- 57 pieces separately: Each one WEAK, INEFFECTIVE, PATHETIC
- One unified block: 24% of the WORLD’S POPULATION (1.9 BILLION)
Economic power comparison:

| OIC potential GDP (IF UNITED) | $25-30 TRILLION (by 2050) |
Resource analysis:
- 70% of the world’s OIL reserves in Muslim lands
- 50% of the world’s NATURAL GAS reserves in Muslim lands
- Strategic chokepoints: Hormuz, Suez, Bab el-Mandeb, Malacca
- YOUNG population: Average age 24 (Europe 43, Japan 48)
CONCLUSION: Divided, these resources are WASTED. United, we would be the MOST POWERFUL BLOC ON EARTH.
2.2. Historical PROOF: United We’re LIONS, Divided We’re SHEEP
United periods:
- Early Islam (610-750): Spread across THREE CONTINENTS in 100 years
- Abbasid Era (750-1258): Center of science, art, and civilization
- Ottoman Empire (1299-1922): Stood for 600 years, controlled 5 million km²
After division:
- 1918: Ottoman collapsed → Carved into 53 weak states
- 1948: Palestine STOLEN
- 1967: Six-Day War – HUMILIATING defeat
- 2003: Iraq INVADED
- 2011: Libya DESTROYED
- 2011-present: Syria in RUINS
- 2023: Gaza MASSACRED
2.3. Know Your ENEMY: Why Did They Divide Us?
Samuel Huntington OPENLY WRITES in “The Clash of Civilizations”:
“The greatest threat to Western civilization is a UNITED Islamic world.”
Noam Chomsky in “Hegemony or Survival”:
“US Middle East policy is based on ‘divide and rule.’ A united Arab or Islamic world is an UNACCEPTABLE threat to American hegemony.”
CONCLUSION:
- If the enemy works HARD to divide us → We become POWERFUL when united
- If imperialism drew artificial borders → These borders serve our WEAKNESS
- If nationalism was INJECTED by the West → Nationalism is POISON for us
In 1916, the British manipulated Sharif Hussein with “Arab nationalism” propaganda to revolt against the Ottomans. Result: The Arab world was SHATTERED into 22 pieces, becoming British-French colonies. When Sharif Hussein realized the BETRAYAL, it was TOO LATE. He cried out but it did not help.
2.4. The European Union Example – The ULTIMATE Irony
The CONTRADICTION:
European nations:
- Different religions (Christian denominations, secularists, atheists)
- Different languages (24 official languages)
- History of WAR (Two World Wars where they SLAUGHTERED each other)
But they STILL unified:
- 1957: Treaty of Rome
- 1993: European Union established
- Today: 27 countries, 447 million people, $15 TRILLION GDP
- Single currency (Euro), free movement, common foreign policy
The Islamic world:
- Common religion (ISLAM)
- Common qibla (Ka’bah)
- Common language potential (Arabic – language of the Quran)
- Common history (1400 years of brotherhood)
BUT WE’RE STILL DIVIDED!
And i ask you: If even ENEMIES can unite for profit, why can’t BROTHERS IN FAITH unite?
Part Three: THE PRICE OF DIVISION – Blood and Humiliation
3.1. Palestine: 75 YEARS OF SHAME
1948: Israel established
- Muslim population: 400 MILLION
- Israel population: 600,000
- Yet Israel WON because Arab states were UNCOORDINATED
2024: Gaza GENOCIDE
- Muslim population: 1.9 BILLION
- Israel population: 9 MILLION
- Yet Palestine STILL ALONE because the Islamic world is FRAGMENTED
THE SCANDAL:
- Some Muslim countries NORMALIZED with Israel (UAE, Bahrain, Morocco)
- Some Muslim countries trade with Israel INDIRECTLY
- OIC meetings produce only WORTHLESS “condemnation” statements
THE PROPHET (PBUH) SAID:
“A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He neither oppresses him NOR ABANDONS HIM to the enemy.” (Bukhari)
Are we NOT abandoning our Palestinian brothers to the enemy TODAY? Ask yourself with 100% honesty.
3.2. Economic BLEEDING
Trade among OIC countries: Only 18% (SESRIC 2020)
Trade among EU countries: 64%
Loss calculation: If the Islamic world integrated at EU level:
- Additional annual trade volume: ~$2 TRILLION
- New employment: 50+ MILLION jobs
- Increased prosperity: Poverty reduced by 50%
3.3. Brain Drain – We’re BLEEDING Talent
Every year, THOUSANDS of talented Muslims emigrate to the West:
- Engineers, doctors, scientists
- Reason: NO opportunities at home, NO coordination
If the Islamic world were united:
- Joint research centers could be established
- Attractive environment for scientists
- Technological INDEPENDENCE achieved
Part Four: THE SOLUTION – KHILAFAH
4.1. Islam’s Command: The NECESSITY of Khilafah
THE PROPHET (PBUH) COMMANDED:
“Whoever dies without having bound himself by an oath of allegiance (to a Muslim ruler) will die the death of one belonging to the days of ignorance.”
“Whoever dies while there is no leader over him, dies a death of JAHILIYYAH (ignorance).”
“Three things make me fear for my Ummah: Leaders who lead them astray, belief in stars, and disbelief in divine decree.”
4.2. The Khilafah
KHILAFAH = POLITICAL UNITY OF THE UMMAH
Today, when people hear “khilafah,” they PANIC because:
- Western media DEMONIZED it
- Extremist groups (like ISIS) CORRUPTED the concept
- Secular elites ran PROPAGANDA against it
4.3. Palestine’s Liberation: The United Ummah’s FIRST DUTY
ALLAH ALMIGHTY COMMANDS:
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَهَاجَرُوا۟ وَجَـٰهَدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاوَوا۟ وَّنَصَرُوٓا۟ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَمْ يُهَاجِرُوا۟ مَا لَكُم مِّن وَلَـٰيَتِهِم مِّن شَىْءٍ حَتَّىٰ يُهَاجِرُوا۟ ۚ وَإِنِ ٱسْتَنصَرُوكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ ٱلنَّصْرُ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍۭ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُم مِّيثَـٰقٌۭ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌۭ
Those who believed, emigrated, and strived with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave them shelter and help—they are truly guardians of one another. As for those who believed but did not emigrate, you have no obligations to them until they emigrate. But if they seek your help ˹against persecution˺ in faith, it is your obligation to help them, except against people bound with you in a treaty. Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.
Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”
Palestine Strategy Plan (United Ummah scenario):
1. Economic blockade (0-1 year)
- 57 Islamic countries CUT all trade with Israel
- Total impact: Israeli economy SHRINKS by 30-40%
- Israel FORCED to negotiate at the UN
2. Military deterrence (2-5 years)
- Islamic Union Army established
- Military exercises on Palestine’s borders
- Clear message: “Attack on Palestine = Declaration of war on the ENTIRE UMMAH”
- War is necessary
4. Rebuilding Palestine (5+ years)
- Palestine joins the Khilafah
- Islamic world provides economic reconstruction
- Jerusalem declared as capital
Mathematical REALITY:
- Israel population: 9 million
- Islamic world: 1.9 BILLION
- Israel GDP: $500 billion
- Islamic world GDP: $8.5 TRILLION
Ratio: 1:200
The ONLY thing missing is our UNITY
CONCLUSION: The CALL TO ACTION
ALLAH ALMIGHTY COMMANDS:
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَا لَكُمْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمُ ٱنفِرُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱثَّاقَلْتُمْ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أَرَضِيتُم بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا مِنَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ فَمَا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ ٣٨
O believers! What is the matter with you that when you are asked to march forth in the cause of Allah, you cling firmly to ˹your˺ land?1 Do you prefer the life of this world over the Hereafter? The enjoyment of this worldly life is insignificant compared to that of the Hereafter.
وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌۭ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
“And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the SUCCESSFUL.”
THE PROPHET (PBUH) DECLARES:
“None of you [truly] believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.”
The oppression in Palestine, the destruction in Syria, the genocide in Myanmar: THESE CONCERN US!
FINAL WORDS:
Borders are ARTIFICIAL, faith is REAL. Flags are TEMPORARY, brotherhood is ETERNAL. States are MORTAL, the Ummah is IMMORTAL.
We have TWO choices:
- Stay divided: Palestine disappears, we remain WEAK, history JUDGES us as COWARDS
- UNITE: Palestine is liberated, we become POWERFUL, we leave an HONORABLE legacy
WE WILL UNITE, WE WILL RISE, WE WILL WIN. EITHER ALL TOGETHER, OR NOT AT ALL! THE TIME FOR EXCUSES IS OVER. THE TIME FOR ACTION IS NOW! WAKE UP, UMMAH! WAKE UP!
